College & Adult Programs
RESTORE is a wilderness trip for college students immediately following the craziness of the school year. After the last lecture, when the last college paper has been turned in and final exams are complete, enjoy an experience that will invigorate and rejuvenate. This wilderness journey is designed for any college student (graduates included) who are in need of a change of pace, a retreat for spiritual renewal, soul cleansing, and a simple break from busy life.
Take time for silence and solitude, focused reflection, meditation in God’s Word and an experience in God’s creation. With your small group, you will paddle into the pristine lakes and rivers of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness and/or backpack in the Superior National Forest. Here there are over 1000 lakes and streams and over 1500 miles of canoe routes and miles of winding trail systems. The BWCAW is considered by some as the most beautiful wilderness they have ever seen. National Geographic named it one of 50 Destinations of a Lifetime. With your group, you may explore rocky outcrops and quiet coves, travel along waterfalls and amidst the boreal forest canopy. Away from roads and electricity, the internet and phone lines, you will have a true wilderness experience in a renowned region of the country.
